Fátima

Fátima in Portugal is a globally recognized pilgrimage site whose spiritual significance attracts millions of believers. At its heart lies the expansive Sanctuary of Fátima, home to the imposing Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity. The site gained fame through the Marian apparitions of 1917, which appeared to three shepherd children and made Fátima one of the most significant Marian shrines worldwide. For a quieter experience away from the large crowds, a visit outside the main pilgrimage days on May 13th and October 13th is recommended.
