With the Fernweh connector your AI assistant plans with your Fernweh trips. It reads the travel guide, creates trips, adds stops, accommodation and bookings, and knows what is on today while you travel. Every change shows up in the app straight away.
What your assistant can do with it
Look up destinations, places, sights, restaurants, round trips and the best time to travel in the Fernweh guide
Create trips, plan stops and nights, add transport and accommodation – also from a round trip
Read booking confirmations and put them in the right place of the trip
Fill day plans with suggestions from the guide
Log expenses, also in foreign currencies, and keep an eye on the budget
On the road: what is on today, where you sleep, what is nearby
Read and extend your saved list, invite travel companions

Plugin for Claude
The plugin contains the connector and a Fernweh skill. With it Claude writes in the guide's tone, uses Fernweh content first, labels everything else and asks before deleting anything.
“Here is my hotel confirmation – add it to my Japan trip.”
“What is on today, and what is near my accommodation?”
“How much does our trip cost per day so far?”
Where the content comes from
Content from the Fernweh guide is checked by the editors and labelled with “fernweh.guide” as its source. Anything your assistant researches elsewhere or adds from its own knowledge is labelled as not from Fernweh.
Hotel and flight search
Where your trip still lacks accommodation or a flight, the assistant offers matching searches. Some of them are affiliate links: if you book through them, we are glad – Fernweh receives a small commission, your price stays the same.
Privacy
Your assistant only sees what it asks the tools for: the public travel guide, your trips and your saved list. It has no access to your password, to other accounts or to the editorial side. Fernweh does not store chat histories. You can disconnect at any time in your profile.
