    1Kaiservilla

Archduchess Sophie gifted the villa in 1854 to her son Franz Joseph for his wedding to Elisabeth, and the imperial couple spent their summers here. Ironically, it was in this very idyll that Franz Joseph signed the declaration of war against Serbia on July 28, 1914. During the tour, you'll see the living quarters; afterwards, a stroll through the park is well worth it.
