    1Thorold Bandshell

    The Thorold Bandshell is a concert bandshell in Battle of Beaverdams Park in downtown Thorold. In summer, it hosts open-air concerts. The park commemorates the Battle of Beaver Dams in the War of 1812 and is just a short walk from the Welland Canal.

    The best place to watch is the Welland Canals Centre at Lock 3 in St. Catharines, featuring a viewing platform and museum. Ship schedules are published online. Along the canal, the Welland Canals Parkway Trail runs for cyclists and pedestrians.
