The Räkmacka (also Räksmörgås) is an open-faced sandwich with shrimp and a classic lunch dish. Served on bread, butter, and lettuce are boiled egg, mayonnaise, and a generous portion of cold-water shrimp (nordhavsräkor), plus dill and lemon. You'll find them in cafés, fish shops, and at harbours, especially on the West Coast.
