    Chiles en nogada

Stuffed Poblano Peppers in Walnut Sauce

    About Chiles en nogada

Large Poblano chiles are stuffed with a picadillo of ground pork, apple, pear, and peach, covered with a cold cream of fresh walnuts, and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds and parsley. The dish originates from Puebla. The season is from July to September, when pomegranates and fresh walnuts are available.
