Flæskesteg is roast pork with particularly crispy crackling, which is scored and salted before cooking. On Christmas Eve, it graces the tables of many Danish families, but you can also find it all year, for instance, as a sandwich at street food stalls. It's typically served with brown gravy, boiled potatoes, caramelized potatoes (brunede kartofler) and sweet-sour red cabbage.
