    Quiche Lorraine

    Quiche Lorraine

    Bacon Cheese Quiche

    About Quiche Lorraine

The Quiche Lorraine consists of a shortcrust pastry base with a filling of eggs, cream or crème fraîche, and bacon cubes (lardons). Cheese is not part of the original recipe, but many modern versions include it anyway. It is eaten warm or lukewarm and can be found in bakeries and brasseries throughout the country.
