Between the beach and high-rises, Kurrawa Park is a wide green strip where markets and events are regularly held.CharacterThe district revolves around two poles: the beach in the east and the shopping and casino area in the west. In between are streets with outdoor dining. The Surf Club at Kurrawa Beach is a clubhouse, restaurant, and observation terrace all in one.

    LocallyBroadbeach is located on the G:link light rail, which travels to Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, Southport, and on to Helensvale. From there, you can connect to the train to Brisbane. Within the precinct, you don't need a car.Further AfieldFor Coolangatta, the theme parks to the north, and the hinterland, take a bus or hire car. The Gold Coast Airport is approximately 20 kilometers south.
