Twee Rivieren Rest Camp
As the main gate and administrative hub of Kgalagadi Park, Twee Rivieren is your ideal starting point for adventure. Here, you'll find not only key facilities like the reception, shop, and fuel station, but also a great base to explore the park's southern areas and make your first wildlife sightings before venturing deeper into the wilderness.
Nossob Rest Camp
The remote Nossob Camp is situated on one of the ancient riverbeds and is renowned for its excellent predator viewing opportunities. Especially at the illuminated waterhole right by the camp, you often have the chance to see black-maned lions, leopards, or hyenas at night – a truly magical experience that will captivate you.
Mata-Mata Rest Camp
Located on the border with Namibia, Mata-Mata offers a unique landscape with denser vegetation, differing from the sandier areas in the south. Here you can often spot giraffes and a wider variety of bird species. The camp is an ideal base for exploring the park's western areas and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at the waterhole.
Auob und Nossob Flussbetten
The dry riverbeds of Auob and Nossob are the park's lifeblood and primary wildlife spotting routes. Along these routes, waterholes attract countless animals – from large Oryx and Springbok herds to dangerous predators ambushing prey. A drive here is essential to experience Kgalagadi's full splendor.
