Lookout at One Tree Hill
The island's most popular viewpoint. In the evenings, many gather here for the sunset over the islands. Accessible by buggy or on foot.
All Saints Chapel
Small chapel on the hill above Catseye Bay, popular for weddings. The large windows offer views of the sea. Usually open outside of ceremonies.
Airport beach
Small beach right next to the runway. Quieter than Catseye Beach, and you see the planes up close taking off and landing.
Point Henning Pavilion
Open pavilion on a hill in the west of the island with views over the neighboring islands. Quiet and rarely visited.
Hamilton Island Wildlife
Small wildlife park with koalas, wallabies, birds, and reptiles. It is known for breakfast with koalas in the morning. Good for families.

Prominent clubhouse at the harbour entrance, overlooking the marina and passage. Inside is Restaurant Bommie and a bar for sundowners. Reserve in the evening.

In the 1980s, the resort with airport and harbour was built; since then, the island lives off tourism.SailingThe Harbour yacht club is a hub for sailing. Every August, the Hamilton Island Race Week takes place, one of Australia's largest regattas. The island is then fully booked.
