The scenic drive offers spectacular views, and free parking is available directly below the castle.For those travelling by public transport, Bus line 507 runs directly from Sélestat train station to the Château, mainly from April to November. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver; special apps or multi-journey tickets tend to focus on urban areas, which is why checking regional timetables early via local transport websites is recommended.Sporty visitors can tackle the challenging route by bicycle, experiencing the landscape up close; e-scooters are unsuitable for this. Taxis or ride-sharing services offer a convenient, direct approach from Sélestat or the surrounding villages. On-site, the entire castle area, with its well-maintained paths and stairs, can be explored excellently on foot.
