    2Cremallera de Núria (Zahnradbahn)

The journey to Vall de Núria is an experience in itself. The Cremallera de Núria, a cogwheel train, travels approximately 12.5 kilometers from Ribes de Freser via Queralbs, climbing around 1,000 meters in altitude, with views of deep gorges and forests. As no road leads into the valley, the train is the only access, alongside the footpath from Queralbs. It's thus not merely a means of transport, but an integral part of your visit.

Beyond the historic walls, the Ville Basse, the lower town, offers insights into modern French city life. A practical tip is to ascend the walls in the late afternoon to witness the sunset over the landscape.
