For longer distances, the modern Odense Letbane (tram) forms an efficient backbone of public transport, connecting key points such as the central station and major attractions, supplemented by a reliable bus network.Tickets can be conveniently purchased via the FynBus App, at vending machines, or with the Danish Rejsekort, offering flexibility for multiple journeys. Odense is renowned as one of Denmark's most bicycle-friendly cities, boasting a dense network of cycle paths and numerous bike rental options, perfect for actively exploring the city and its green surroundings. E-scooters provide another flexible option for shorter distances.Taxis are also available, though ride-sharing services are less widespread. However, for the most authentic and sustainable experience, simply exploring the Old Town and the Andersen Quarter on foot, and allowing yourself to be immersed in the city's charm, is highly recommended.
