Ebeltoft Harbor
South of the Old Town, the marina is home to sailboats, small galleries, and cafés. Next door, the old Maltfabrikken malthouse has been transformed into a cultural center with shops and restaurants. From here, it's just a few minutes' walk to the city center.
Fregatten Jylland
The frigate, launched in 1860, combines sail with steam propulsion. In 1864, it fought in the Battle of Heligoland. Today it lies in dry dock; you can explore all decks, from the crew's hammocks to the officers' cabins. There's a treasure hunt for children.
Museum
Glass, Museum of Glass Art
Museum for contemporary glass art in the former customs building by the harbor, founded by glass artists in 1986 and named "Glas" since 2023. In addition to changing exhibitions, there's a glassblowing workshop where you can sometimes watch the work.

Ebeltoft is an old merchant town that received town rights in 1301. Because the town barely grew for a long time, its core with half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets was preserved. The small old town hall on the market square today belongs to the Ebeltoft Museum and is the town's landmark.The frigate Jylland came to Ebeltoft in 1960 and was restored here. The Glass Museum, founded in 1986, has made the town a meeting point for glass artists; several glass workshops operate in the town.

Midttrafik buses connect Ebeltoft with Aarhus. By car, it's under an hour from Aarhus. A Molslinjen ferry runs between Ebeltoft and Sjællands Odde on select days, particularly weekends and holidays; check the timetable in advance.
